Borrowed Luxe Hire Policies

Welcome to Borrowed Luxe Hire. Please read our policies carefully before placing your order. By using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

  • Data Collection: We collect information you provide when booking, including your name, contact details, and payment information.
  • Usage: This information is used only to process your hire, improve our service, and communicate with you.
  • Storage & Security: We store your details securely and never sell or share your data with third parties, except for payment processing or delivery services.
  • Marketing: By signing up, you may receive exclusive updates and promotions. You can unsubscribe anytime.

2. Hire & Returns Policy

  • Hire Period: Standard hire is 4 days unless otherwise agreed. Longer hires are available on request.
  • Condition of Garments: All items must be returned in the same condition they were received. Normal wear is accepted, but damage, stains, or loss will incur repair or replacement charges.
  • Returns: Items must be returned on or before the agreed return date. Late returns will incur daily late fees.
  • Cancellations: Orders cancelled 7+ days before dispatch are eligible for a store credit. Orders cancelled within 7 days of dispatch are non-refundable.
  • Wrong Size/Change of Mind: We do not provide refunds for change of mind or incorrect sizing. Store credit may be issued at our discretion if unworn.

3. Shipping & Delivery Policy

  • Express Delivery: We offer express nationwide shipping. In select locations, 3-hour express delivery is available.
  • Dispatch: Items are dispatched to arrive by your selected event date. We recommend booking at least 3–4 days before your event.
  • Return Shipping: A prepaid return satchel is provided with every order. Customers are responsible for returning the garment via the instructions provided.
  • Delays: Borrowed Luxe Hire is not liable for postal delays beyond our control (e.g., Australia Post or courier delays).

4. Payment & Security

  • All payments must be made at the time of booking.
  • We accept major credit/debit cards and secure online payments.
  • A security deposit or card authorisation may be required for certain hires.

5. Damage, Loss & Fees

  • Damage: If an item is returned with damage beyond repair, the customer is responsible for the full replacement value of the garment.
  • Loss or Theft: Full replacement cost will be charged if the garment is not returned.
  • Late Fees: A daily late fee applies until the garment is returned.

6. Store Credit & Refunds

  • Refunds are generally not offered except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
  • Store credit may be issued for cancellations, incorrect fit (unworn), or unforeseen circumstances, at Borrowed Luxe Hire’s discretion.

7. Terms of Service

By renting from Borrowed Luxe Hire, you acknowledge and agree:

  • You are responsible for the garment from delivery until its safe return.
  • You will not alter, dry-clean, or lend the garment to another person.
  • All hires are subject to availability and confirmation by Borrowed Luxe Hire.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
